The Hong Kong stock market which finished modestly lower last year results in dragging down HKEX(0388.HK)’s growth. As the losing streak may continue for the market, clouds were this dark over HKEX’s prospect. CEO Nicolas Aguzin said they are considering amendments to the mainboard listing rules, to encourage more companies to list in Hong Kong, but the schedule cannot be provided as they still need a series of round-table-talks.
港交所(0388.HK)去年全年增長顯著放緩，第四季更是全年表現最差的一季，去年來港主板上市股份減少至97隻，前稱創業板的GEM更只有1隻新股掛牌。港交所正與證監會研究修訂主板上市規則，未有盈利但具規模的科技公司，只有披露清楚，或可獲准上市。
