Ahead of China’s two sessions work report, analysts expect an economic slowdown

Premier Li Keqiang will deliver the government work report during the annual “two sessions” gatherings of the National People’s Congress and the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, which kick off in March in Beijing. China will set its lowest annual GDP target in decades of around 5 to 5.5 percent growth, as the country is facing an uncertain outlook against the backdrop of the coronavirus, a property slump and uncertainty over the war in Ukraine, according to analysts.
